Within the last two weeks, the year 3 learners have been expanding their vocabulary knowledge regarding food and drinks to find out the missing items in a grocery list, to express their opinions regarding food (healthy vs unhealthy food, likes vs dislikes) and to talk about flavours (sweet, sour, spicy, bitter) and texture (hard or soft). We approach every lesson placing the focus on developing our learners literacy (reading and writing) and communicative skills (expressing opinions, asking and answering questions, etc.).
